Editor's Note: Wearied, often pessimistic observations and life lessons shared from an anonymous author who has "been there, do...
"...the LORD would speak to Moses face to face (V.11)"...
ReplyDelete"...He said, 'You will not be able to see My face, for man shall not see Me and live.'(v.20)"
...clearly we're missing something that's being communicated here. We know that the LORD has already met with men "in person", and we're even told here that he spoke with Moses face-to-face, yet said that Moses couldn't see his face...🤔
maybe just as Moses would be in the next chapter, perhaps the LORD was usually veiled in come kind of way, even while meeting in person with his people. Maybe there's something going on here similar to what later happened with Jesus, Moses, and Elijah in Matthew 17/Mark 9.
