  1. Genesis 47 - I bet Joseph would have won "employee of the year" and "citizen of the year" every time. The people of Egypt were happy to sell everything they had - and even become sharecroppers on what used to be their land - in order to get the provisions that he had stockpiled. He made Pharaoh richer than the king probably thought possible, and then set up residual income streams that would continue for who know how long. And he didn't do it to take advantage of the people - he did it to *save* them. And mostly to be obedient to the vision the LORD had given him, and to be a faithful servant of the God in whom he trusted.
