For so many years I though that Lot was some backslidden sinner who got saved in spite of his reckless living with the sin of his city (maybe because he wanted the good life and was willing to look the other way to get that?) But that's not how the angels dealt with him, what the Sodomites thought of him, or what Scripture says about him in 2nd Peter 2. No, it seems more like when judgement was coming the Most High came for his people to get 'em out. That's a comforting thought in these days, right? He see his people, He hasn't forgotten those who belong to him, and He will come for us.
